Post Heavies vs. Scouts
I have recently wrote a plugin for SourceMod that pits a disproportionate amount of bat-armed scouts vs. a small band of minigun-toting heavies as inspired by this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7wuyJQSM5Q

For my next version I plan on:
  • Having players switched around instantly when they are needed somewhere
  • Enabling the resupplies
  • Having the option of an autoscramble whenever teams are switched
  • Fixing the trade functionality up a bit
  • Adding the option to ban Sandman/Natasha

After all that is taken care of, I plan on:
  • Enabling admin control over class types of each team
  • Enabling admin control over the weapon set available to each team
  • Seeing about mixing up spawntimes
  • Optimizing the default heavy:scout ratio

Thank you to everyone who helped test it. I got a lot of good feedback.

Had a blast with this last night! It was pretty damn hilarious watching a pack of scouts jump a heavy :lol:

EDIT: I went ahead and put up the commands in the admin section

I finished the next version. It is located at: http://www.goldnose.com/files/heaviesvsscouts.smx

Any changes to team composition are made instantly.

Trade has been fixed up to prevent a minor error with over-enthusiastic spectators.

Resupplies are now operational and seem to have no real impact on game performance. (The event listener can't know who got resupplied so the plugin has to check everybody's weapons whenever someone gets resupplied.)

There is now the option to prohibit Sandmans and Nataschas. The default is to disallow them. In addition there is an option to allow scouts to carry Bonk Atomic Punch or Crit-a-Cola. The default for that is to allow that.

Unfortunately, I could not get the autoscramble in.

Oh, and new convars:
hvs_sandman 0
hvs_natascha 0
hvs_drink 1
