Tuesday & Thursdays New Map Days
Tuesday & Thursdays are new map day!Every week a selection of maps will be run on the server. They will comprise of brand new maps, maps that have been recently updated, maps that need test play and feedback. We'll be playing 4-6 maps depending on how the gameplay is going. Approximate play time is Tuesday & Thursday 8:00pm ESTAs always, feedback about what maps you liked playing can be left here on the forums, or on the map spreadsheet. Or in the appropriate thread if the spreadsheet is down.***Please note the map creators aren't necessarily a member of the Lab***Any mapping specific feedback should be provided to the mappers via the Steam forums, TF2 Maps forums or any other way indicated. If you'd like to suggest a map, please leave comment in the recommendation thread. All previously played maps will be listed below.

pl_beerbowl and ctf_staging were both really good I thought. Definite vote candidates. FurbyDestroyer wrote: But BTW, more then half a days notice would be nice next time. You can blame me for that Also, I tried to get some of the other maps you posted a while back but some were in several pieces. Since we run a Pure 1 server to prevent material/sound hax, they probably won't work right. And I have no idea what to do with a .bak file!

 Re: Tuesday, New Maps!
Tuesday works fine for me only occasioanlly. My headphone cable got worn in two. I hate playing with speakers (can't hear those damn spah's uncloak), but I guess I'll have to until I can get new ones. Anyone want to donate to DoubleD's headphone charity? Free headphones accepted, or money for headphones. Is Tuesday best for everyone? Maybe we should have a poll to determine when the most people can normally be there and make that the day. Back in CS days it was Thirsty Thursdays was new map day and we had a map pack setup and server configs set to run those maps. Honestly, most any day works for me normally. But Thurs works best though. Let's put it to a vote?

 Re: TBD, New Maps!
Can we schedule it earlier, too? Like 7:30 or 8:00?

Those that can play later will.

Start time is more accurately "whenever we have enough regulars/admins to start checking maps", but I'm fine with changing the "listed" time to earlier. Side note, I've left the main entry blank until you decide whats happening with map day. Could you please just ask me to edit my posts instead of doing so yourself in the future

Start time is more accurately "whenever we have enough regulars/admins to start checking maps", but I'm fine with changing the "listed" time to earlier. That's great. An earlier-listed time should give people an incentive to check the server earlier and get going sooner. TeeKaye wrote: Side note, I've left the main entry blank until you decide whats happening with map day. Well, that's the point. It's not really up to me, or you, to arbitrarily decide when "map day" should be. There are lots of other people's schedules to consider. I mean, it's Dr. Him's server...what if map day only worked on Wednesday for him? I don't think everyones input was solicited and as such this thread was premature. TeeKaye wrote: Could you please just ask me to edit my posts instead of doing so yourself in the future [/quote] You are right. That was rude. I should have sent a PM to discuss. In that regard, I sincerely apologise. Going forward, however, the other admins should be involved in these types of server decisions too. And, to be fair, I only changed the day to TBD...which is very minor. I did not remove your post, only the day. There was nothing wrong with the post other than we needed to confirm/decide on a date. If we're going to do this, lets do it right. No big deal, the cart just got in front of the horse.
