 Re: Mapcycle and Mapvotes
I just want to mix things up. Our rotation has gotten somewhat boring in my opinion, and shaking things up will be fun. All maps that have been in the Rotation are of high quality and play well, so my vote to remove them from the rotation is not a comment on their quality. I just am tired of playing some of the same maps over and over. By taking them off the rotation they won't take up the "next map" slot on the RTV and we'll take a break from them for a bit. Some of the maps that are only in the votes right now deserve a turn in the rotation where we can play them quite often. Several months from now, we can do this again and once again cull out the over played ones and freshen up the list again. I also feel we've "lost" a few maps into the Admin Only section that deserve a little more play. Those I have recommended up into the vote list to see what people think of them. If they don't deserve it, they can once again be dropped back to Admin Only, or deleted all together if they don't work.
Proposed Rotation: cp_aqua cp_castle4 cp_corporation_b3 - From Admin Only cp_labor - To Votes cp_gydan - From just Votes cp_roswell - To Votes cp_redfort_a3 - From just Votes cp_smbcastle2 - To Votes cp_steel - to Admin Only ctf_aerospace_b4 - From just Votes ctf_chaos ctf_impact2 ctf_mach4 ctf_turbine pl_badwater pl_cashworks_b3 - From just Votes pl_frontier_b2 pl_great_heights_b2 - From just Votes pl_goldrush - To Admin Only pl_waste_b4 - From just Votes

I reckon that sounds good, I like the addition of new maps and the subtraction of the ones we play far too much. Also, I remember Broma http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/53436 being great fun, I'd like to see that in the rotation. Personally I'd like to see Aqua off the rotation, I am well and truly bored of that map, and was never a great fan of it.

 Re: Mapcycle and Mapvotes
Made changes based on your preferences and what I've been hearing lately. Basically what theLarom suggested but a few more added/removed (removed egypt just for you fungie), and some just left in votes for now.
Probably some other maps we can bring back from the dead like floodzone2, convoy, and powerhouse jr (I know, some people hate these maps)
Let me know what you think.

 Re: Mapcycle and Mapvotes
smbcastle is still in the votes, but it may go back in the cycle.
I'd love to see powerhouse_jr on in the votes too-- I just updated it to b7 just now.

 Re: Mapcycle and Mapvotes
I'm up for Powerhouse in the votes, I prefer the larger version over the smaller one, but that's just me, I'll play either happily.
Convoy I'm also willing to play again. We gave it a 6 month breather, and I wouldn't mind seeing it come back up in the votes.
Floodzone I have always disliked in all it's forms. If other people like it, that's fine, go with their preference. I don't want to deny people a map they love simply because I don't like it. Also, it can be played on nights I'm not around and I'm not suffering in the slightest.
SMBCastle for me is the flipside of Convoy. I like the map a lot, but I'm tired of it for now. Give it a break of a few months and we can bring it back full force and I'll enjoy playing it then.

 Re: Mapcycle and Mapvotes
I'm not a huge fan of SMBCastle, but I'm happy playing it with the right people! As for Powerhouse, I've never really liked it in all honesty, always found it a bit lacking, graphically.

I was thinking more along the lines as twice as big, more hallways, loads of dead ends, no signs, no moveable spawns and caps that capture in around 5-10 seconds. Oh and make it an all spy map as well.
